Connor Walking ...almost

Connor has a new talent, he is able to walk with the help of his new favorite toy!  Connor has been doing this for about a month and now that we have a video camera we are able to share his new adventures with our friends and family!

30 and Loving Life!

My birthday started off great because it snowed!  Connor and I enjoyed it and so did the boys, Guinness is in the background.

Greg got lobsters for my birthday dinner, Connor wasn't so sure about them, but I sure loved them!

What the Dobkin Family has been Up to!

Fall is here and I'm thrilled, my favorite time of the year!  Because its fall I'm making applesauce for Connor.  His Grandma made him his own batch last year and he loved it so much I'm making more, to the tune of 40 pounds of apples!  Connor is keeping me busy because he is all over the place, but its all fun!   

Connor has been showing interest in walking so we bought this toy so he can push this train, he loves it!

Our friends Tony and Jenny gave Connor this amazing rocking horse and he loves it, so many fun toys!

Greg and many of his friends have been working on this backyard project for several weeks.  The dogs had killed the grass in various spots in the backyard so Greg decided a flagstone path would look much better and it turned out great!

Unfortunately Tulo hurt his paw pretty good.  He didn't break it but he isn't putting much weight on it and it is swollen so Greg has wrapped it so hopefully it will heal soon!  

Football, Teeth, and Cooking

We went to the CSU football game last weekend, although it was cold and rainy we had a great time plus CSU won!  We plan to go again on Saturday and the weather should be much nicer so tailgating should be more fun.

Connor now has two teeth, even though this picture only shows one.  Connor is enjoying all sorts of food like carrots, sweet potatoes, applesauce, peaches, and oatmeal.  I am  making his food so we are both enjoying trying new foods!

Connor is on the move all the time, keeping us busy but so much fun!  While I was cooking he wanted to help, I can't wait till we can cook together! 

The Surprise that Wasn't

This past Saturday I 'tried' to throw Greg a surprise 30th birthday party.  His birthday was in June and I had told him we were celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary so I thought I had him.  Well no, he had hacked into my Evite account and knew everything, who was coming (including his good friend from California), who wasn't able to come, the food I was serving, every last detail. 

Even though I wasn't able to surprise him we still had a great party and weekend with our parents and friends.  Plus he did bring me flowers for our anniversary so that was sweet but I'm still giving him a hard time about ruining the surprise!

I even got him a bounce house, which of course he knew about.  He always says how much fun they are so of course I had to get one for my 30 year old child!  The kids, adults, and even our dogs had a great time playing in it!

Great friends, food, and drinks made the party great!

To top off the weekend all the guys went to the CSU/CU football game, the ladies went shopping, and CSU won!  They even stormed the field and Greg is just now getting his voice back from all the screaming they did!

Busy Weekend

We attended our friend's wedding this weekend, Connor's second wedding.  It was a beautiful setting and the couple was even more beautiful.  Congrats Cara and Joe!

Connor attended his first kid's birthday party also this weekend.  It was a frog pool party and he had a great time.
