The Holidays

Connor started off the holiday season by getting a music set (drum, bells, tambourine, shakers, etc.) from his Great Grandma and Dan for Hanukah. He loves playing the drums and having us play the other instruments to make his own band.

Our little family after Christmas Eve service!

There was no shortage of presents for Connor, he made out quite well again this year! Santa brought him a train table with plenty of trains!

His great looking Princeton Tiger hat!

The boys had a wonderful Christmas as well, getting new toys, treats, and rawhides!

Nana even gave him big boy undies, not sure what he thinks of them yet!

Papa and Connor reading one of his new books.

Some great family shots before everyone left. We had a wonderful time with our families and look forward to next Christmas when our little family will be a family of 4!

The North Pole in Colorado!

Yesterday we went to the North Pole here in Colorado! We went with our good friends, the Jones family, and we all had a great time!

Connor saw Santa and he did pretty well, looks a little uncomfortable but at least there were no tears! In line we asked Connor what he wanted to ask Santa for and he said, trains, trucks, and balls! He has been a good boy this year so I'm sure he'll get what he wants!

The rest of the afternoon we went on rides. Some rides Connor was able to go on by himself and others we went on with him! He did really well riding the rides by himself, I think some of it scared me more than him!

Here are all the kids, Connor, Evan, and Karley enjoying a ride!

It was a long day and he was asleep about 3 minutes after we got into the car, such a trooper though!

Thanksgiving in Texas

We spent Thanksgiving in Texas with my family this year. My parents, grandparents, brother, sister-in-law, and uncle all joined us for the festivities, it was wonderful!

Connor loved this little stool my mom had decorations on, so he loved to pose for pictures!

My dad fried a turkey this year and he had a helper to check how it was cooking, Connor loves helping everyone.

We also went to the Dallas Aquarium while we were there, which was a lot of fun for all of us.

One of my family's favorite restaurants is the Bavarian Grill, a fabulous German restaurant! They have a band which always performs the chicken dance and Connor and I had to participate! We got these great chicken dance hats to dance along with!

Probably the best part of the night was the train going around the restaurant. Connor loves trains right now so it was really entertaining!

Visit from the Abrahams & Halloween

This past Thursday my best friend from middle school to the present came with her husband, Justin, and their son, Will. We had a wonderful visit with them!

Connor and Will shared bath time, which was the first time Connor ever shared bath time with someone else, he had a lot of fun!

We went to the zoo on a very nice day and the boys had a great time! Here are the boys trying to climb through the fence to see the elephants.

Cheese!

On Saturday we went to the CSU football game and the boys got these great ram horns. Connor loved the game again!

Ram fans!

Will left today, Halloween, which was very sad for Connor but we will see him again when we visit my parents for Thanksgiving!

Connor was a farmer this year and loved posing for this picture!

Connor did some trick-or-treating, here he is getting lots of candy from our friends Erik and Shelby! Happy Halloween!

Fall is Here!

Fall is here and I love that, this is my favorite time of year! The colors are amazing this year, I really need to show you all, you would be jealous!

Part of fall is football and we have season tickets to the CSU games which is a lot of fun and Connor loves the games as well! At the last game they had these great cut-outs and we just had to get Connor in them!

Connor really did enjoy the game, but he also enjoyed doing some push ups in between plays!

It was a sunny day, hence the squint, but he loved posing with the pumpkins because there was a perfect rock to sit on right in front of this one!

As you all know, the bummer part about fall is the raking that comes with it. We have an amazing tree in our front yard but that means tons of leaves to rake, but luckily we have a great little helper this year!

Playing Catch Up

For those of you who aren't on facebook or haven't heard, we are pregnant! We are 14 weeks and besides being tired everything is going well! Connor knows there is a baby in my belly and he continues to say that it is a girl, we'll find out the end of November if he is right!

We visited the Children's Museum again and Connor immediately requested we go to the bubbles! This particular bubble was a gas bubble which made for a cool photo!

We also went with Tamara, her son Brayden, who Connor now calls Bray Bray (super cute), to feed the ducks. Connor had a good time and also did that a few weeks later with my parents when we visited them in Texas.

This was just too cute of a picture not to take. Connor 'busted' while pulling all the kleenex out of the box!

Greg and I took Connor to play putt putt a few weeks ago. He actually did a really good job, but the next time we go we'll bring his mini hockey stick instead of using the smaller club, it was a little too heavy.

He really enjoyed throwing the balls more and putting the balls into the holes!

Winter is just around the corner and I wanted to make sure everything fit him, so we tried on his snow attire, pretty darn cute huh?! Connor loved the outfit so much he didn't want to take it off, we compromised on the hat and mittens along with his pjs, I should have taken a picture of that, it was quite a sight!

The first weekend of October my roommate from college, Kaelen, got married! Connor and I traveled to Texas but I left Connor with my parents while I went to the wedding in Houston. It was great to see my college friends and of course seeing the beautiful bride!

Finally, last Friday was my 31st birthday and I had a great birthday! Greg made my favorite cake and we had some friends over to celebrate!
