The Children's Museum

Tuesday we all went to the Children's Museum. Connor had a great time!

There was a model fire engine that Connor was able to explore.

He dressed up like a fireman and met a pretend one as well, he wasn't so sure about him!

He also got to be a vet which of course made daddy very proud! He loved getting water for the dogs and cats, pretty darn cute!

Connor also made his first art project, although Greg made the C in Connor took large, he had to "square" the N in his name, it is still a beautiful piece!

Connor also got to be a train conductor!

And make bubbles!

He also was very curious about the hermit crab he met as well.

He did some grocery shopping....

and he finished the afternoon off by fishing! It truly was a great trip and I'm sure we will be going back often! Connor turned 18 months today and he is "talking" more and more, he is trying to jump and run, and he loves trucks and balls! Our little boy is growing up super fast and he is so much fun and the love of our lives!

Wedding Weekend in Washington

This past weekend was amazing! Our very good friends, Erik and Shelby got married in Washington. The weekend started with the rehearsal dinner which was on a boat cruise around the San Juan Islands surrounding Ancortes, Washington (where Shelby grew up).

The wedding was the highlight of the weekend and our little man was one of the ring bearers, here is the handsome boy all ready for the night!

Here are the beautiful bride, Shelby, and her handsome groom, Erik dancing their first dance.

Connor loved dancing and he was quite a hit with everyone!

Connor continued to steal the show and caught the garter, here is Greg, one of the best men, putting the garter around his arm.

Enjoying the wonderful night with good friends!

I think she had a good time!

Since we were so close to Canada, we decided to extend our weekend and take a mini vacation to Vancouver, Connor and Greg's first visit to Canada!

We went to the Capilano Suspension bridge, which was breathtaking!

Vancouver was absolutely gorgeous!

We also visited downtown Vancouver, where we got to see the Olympic cauldron, which they are now turning into a water fountain.

Grandma's 90th Birthday Celebration in San Diego

The 4th of July weekend we spent with Greg's family in San Diego to celebrate his grandma's 90th birthday. Unfortunately our trip started off rocky because our flight was 2 hours delayed which put us into San Diego after 2 in the morning Colorado time.

Saturday morning we had family pictures which went surprisingly well considering the amount of sleep Connor had. Hopefully I'll have those pictures to post soon, but in the meantime here is a great one of Greg with his grandma and sister, Paige, who came all the way from Thailand.

Two of Greg's uncles and their families stayed in houses while in San Diego and we spent one night there enjoying the nice weather.

Before we left we had to make it to the beach, Connor enjoyed it so much when we were in L.A. over Thanksgiving and this time was even better!

We had a wonderful time seeing family and most of all celebrating Grandma's 90th birthday!

Splash Pad

A few weeks ago our friends, Jessica and her daughter Madeline and her son Noah introduced us to a splash park near her house. Connor wasn't quite sure at first, but once he realized how fun it was and how nice it felt on a hot day he loved it!

Here is Connor and Madeline enjoying the water!

Taking a break and watching the big kids!
