Connor's First Holiday Season

Connor is pure joy for Greg and I.  Now that he is walking he is keeping us even more busy but it is so much fun!  Here is Connor enjoying his toy basket literally!

The holiday season began with Connor experiencing his first Hanukah.  We lit the candles every night and called Greg's dad to recite the prayer via the phone.

We also went to the Denver Zoo Lights.  Greg and I had never been there and it was a lot of fun to go with Connor for the first time.  The zoo is decked out in lights and you get to see some animals in a way you don't get to see them during the day.  It was a cold night so we were all bundled up to enjoy the lights.

The aquarium section of the zoo was the highlight for Connor!

We were lucky to have a white Christmas which made Connor's first Christmas even more special.  Grandpa made Connor his first snowman.

Here we are before the Christmas Eve service.

Our parents were both able to join us for Connor's first Christmas so as you can see he received just a few presents from his grandparents, us, and Santa of course!

His new kitchen!

Opening presents was a lot of fun not only for Connor but for us to watch.  I can only imagine how much more fun it will be!

He also got a dump truck filled with legos, such a boy toy!

Grandma and Connor hanging out.

Such a happy boy!

Enjoying his ball popper, how many of you remember having one of these toys?!

His car is his favorite toy and we all got our exercise pushing him around the house in it!

Connor also got his own chair which he likes climbing on more than actually sitting in!

Nana and Grandpa with Connor before they left.

It was a perfect holiday season and we look forward to many more to come.  Connor is 11 months today and we can't believe our little man will be 1 soon, time truly has flown.  We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and has a safe and happy new year!

3rd Haircut

On Tuesday we took Connor for his third haircut.  The first one was done by Greg and the second one was done by the lady who cuts my hair.  We went to Snip Its, a kids haircut place, and it was great!  The lady who cut his hair did it in about 5 minutes, I'm sure she is used to squirmy kids but Connor did great!  She took quite a bit off, a little bit much for my taste, but I'm sure it will grow back quickly.  It was a $20 haircut so I guess we got our money's worth!

I know Connor isn't really looking in this picture, but i thought it was a good head shot of his hair before.

This is early on in the haircut, you can see how much hair he had!

During the haircut.

After his haircut, he got a toy from the machine behind him, he got a Santa game which he really likes.

Here are a couple 'after' pictures, doesn't he look like a little boy?!  His hair is also quite a bit lighter, Connor is changing so much before our eyes, crazy!
